What Is TeethXpress?

By using 4 or more implants, your dentist can stabilise a denture eliminating the need for removable dentures. The end result is artificial teeth that function and feel like the real thing!

How is it done?

A thorough assessment of your current dental condition is carried out, including a complete medical history - it is surgery after all!

If you are a good candidate for this procedure, we will start with making you a full upper denture.

Surgery will include the removal of any remaining teeth, and the fitting of 4 or more implants; the denture is then locked onto these implants ON THE DAY.

Many patients will leave our practice with new teeth that do not need to be removed.

Does it hurt?

Most patients do not complain of pain after surgery, but there will always been swelling and bruising.

Can I eat after surgery?

You may eat soft foods only, for a period of approximately 6 weeks.

I’m a smoker, can I have this procedure?

Yes, but under strict conditions. You will need to stop smoking altogether for at least 4 weeks.

I’m a diabetic, can I have this procedures?

Again, like smokers, there are strict conditions to be followed before you can contemplate this procedure.

How long does the process take?

An average TeethXpress procedure, from start to finish, takes about 10-12 appointments, over a period of 6 months.

I’ve heard of All on 4s, is this the same?

Yes, TeethXpress is the registered trademark for BioHorizons Implants; whereas All on 4 is the trademark for NobelBiocare Implants.

How much does it cost?

A single jaw costs $25,000 and two jaws $48,000

All on 4s only cost $10,000 overseas, why is TeethXpress so much more?

A same day All on 4 dentures (single jaw) carried out overseas, can be done here for $15,000; however, in order to provide patients with a robust, long-lasting denture, we have to provide you with a titanium reinforced denture 6 months after initial surgery (to allow the implants to heal).

This is the additional cost.

The $15,000 option can often fracture under loading and we do not recommend this for the long term.
